Featured poets, F.I. Goldhaber and Carolyn Martin read from 7 to 8 p.m. Sunday, October 11, 2015 at Stonehenge Studios, 3508 SW Corbett Ave., Portland. An open mic follows from 8 to 9.

Second week of September and we still have had no significant rainfall in the Portland area. Above 80-degree temperatures continue. The damage wrought by this summer's fires will stay with us for many years.
