Two More Poetry Broadsides

I've added two more Poetry Broadsides to my
website. The first includes the poem, "Conversations with My Mother's Purse", that has never before been available to read online. Originally published in
Gold Man Review's inaugural issue in November, 2011, it's also available in
Food ♦ Family ♦ Friends. Now you can find "
Conversations with My Mother's Purse" as a broadside on my website.
The second poem, "Signs of the Times", originally appeared with several other of my poems on
Humdinger Literary E-zine, an early online poetry publication, in May 2006. It's also included in
Pairs of Poems opposite "On the Street". Now read
Signs of the Times as a poetry
broadside.
"Relentless Reality"and
"Contemplating Continuing as a Crip"

In "Relentless Reality", I review
Domestic Bodies,
Jennifer Ruth Jackson's debut poetry collection published by Querencia Press in February.
I also added
Relentless Reality, first published by
Whale Road Review to my
blog.
A collection of very short poems,
Domestic Bodies explores living as a crip in a world designed to prevent our access to shopping, government, education, events, travel, life. If you or a loved one face a cancer diagnosis, if you grieve the loss of a parent or relationship, if you live with disabilities, look for solace in the pages of this collection.
Also included on the blog, my first contrapuntal poem, "
Contemplating Continuing as a Crip" which appeared in
Whale Road Review's Summer 2024 issue along with "Relentless Reality".
