Last month, Mary Rosenblum interviewed Joel and me about the work we do for
Publish Your Words. The article appeared in her newsletter, The Literary Midwife, and on
The New Writers Interface's Blog.
Joel answered questions about cover artwork, design, fonts, costs, and rights. I talked about elements of professional book design required to avoid an amateur-looking book and how ebook formatting differs from print page design. We both mention ways an author can save money on their book or cover design by doing some of the work themselves.

As part of her introduction, Mary had some very nice things to say about our work. She also discusses how professional book design can make the difference in whether or not a reader considers purchasing a book.
